Categories and
Eligibility: Only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are
eligible to register for these Championships. All entries in these Championships
shall compete in the Open Category. Transfer chess pairs may be single-gender or
mixed.
Applications:
Applications should be made online at

Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis up to 80
players per tournament. Applications do not constitute automatic acceptance into
the tournament and SMU MindSports reserves the right to accept or reject
entries.
Applicants who knowingly or negligently volunteer false or incomplete
information may be disqualified from the Championships, and the respective Entry
Fees may be forfeited at the discretion of the SMU MindSports. Entry Fees will
not be refunded for withdrawn entries. An entry will only be deemed effective
and accepted when the entry fees have been received and a confirmation e-mail
sent to the players. Entry Fees for the C960 Championship include a
complimentary lunch (see 5. Schedule and 8. Entry Fees and Payment).
Closing Date: The
closing date for entries for the Championships is
Wednesday, 23 January 2013 at 11.59 pm.
All confirmation e-mails shall be sent out by Thursday, 24 January 2013. SMU
MindSports reserves the right to accept
late entries at a surcharge of
S$5.00 per player per tournament. No entries shall be accepted upon
commencement of the Players’ Meeting.
